Giuseppe Zanotti was – in many ways – always destined to be the giant of shoe design he’s known as today. Born in San Mauro Pascoli, the Italian designer comes from a town known for (what else?) shoes. As a teenager he was already designing and bought his first atelier in the mid-eighties, making his name with exquisitely finished heels and jewellery. That same affinity for shimmer and shine continues to prevail today among his fervently feminine and overtly glamorous pieces, adored by stars aplenty from Beyoncé to Madonna.
